Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University in Aligarh at 12 noon today. Following this he will address the show. The Prime Minister will also visit the Uttar Pradesh Defense Career Route to be set up in Aligarh and the exhibition models of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh State University.
The university is being set up by the state government in memory of and honoring Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh, a great freedom fighter, educator and social reformer.
The university is being set up on a total area of 92 acres in Lodha village of Aligarh’s Cole Tehsil and Karim Jarauli village of Musepur. The university will accredit 395 colleges operating in the Aligarh division.
Speaking at the opening of the Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit in Lucknow on February 21, 2018, the Prime Minister announced that a defense career path would be created in Uttar Pradesh.
Aligarh, Agra, Kanpur, Chitrakoot, Jhansi and Lucknow It is planned to set up security industry routes at 6 places. Land allotment process has been completed in Aligarh and land has been allotted to 19 companies. These companies have invested Rs. 1245 crore will be invested.
The defense career path in Uttar Pradesh will help the country achieve self-sufficiency in the military manufacturing sector and promote the ‘Make in India’ program.
