Amritsar. The central investigation agency has raided three villages of Sri Hargobindpur. The people whose houses were raided by the central agency (NIA) are said to be Khalistani supporters and supporters of MP Amritpal Singh. According to the information received, the raid is still going on.
According to the information, raids have been conducted by the Central Investigation Agency (NIA) in Kasba Ghuman, Village Machrawan and Bhamandi of Sri Hargobindpur. Raids are being conducted at the houses of Gurmukh Singh son of Amarjit Singh resident of Ghuman, Lakhwinder Kaur wife of Bachittar Singh resident of Bhamandi and Baljit Singh son of Joginder Singh resident of Machrawan.
The NIA raided the house of Kavishar Makhan Singh Musafir in Samalsar town of Baghapurana on Friday morning. Makhan Singh Musafir is not at home and the NIA team is investigating the house in the presence of the Sarpanch and other village residents. It is being told that the NIA team reached here at 5 am and the investigation is being carried out since then.
Raids have been conducted at the house of brother-in-law and uncle Pargat Singh of Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh, who is lodged in Dibrugarh jail. The accused’s brother-in-law Mehta and Pargat Singh live on Feruman Road in Raiya. It has been learned that the investigating agency has seized DVR, laptop and some documents from both their houses.
