New Delhi: National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials conducted intensive raids at 70 locations in 8 states to nab anti-social gangs linked to Pakistan.
Khalistan separatist groups operate in Punjab. These groups are armed and financed by Pakistan’s spy agency ISI. Apart from these, anti-social gangs like Lawrence Bishnoi, Neeraj Bhawana, Bambika are operating with Pakistani background.
These separatist groups and anti-social gangs are involved in criminal activities such as murdering celebrities for money, kidnapping businessmen and experts, and drug trafficking. They are also engaging in terrorist activities at the instigation of Pakistan.
Anti-social gangs are deeply entrenched in 8 states namely Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Union Territory of Chandigarh. NIA officials conducted surprise raids in these states yesterday.
Notorious criminals caught: Intensive searches were conducted at various places in Delhi and Gurugram. Rowdy Kausal Chowdhury was caught in this.
Weapons were seized during raids conducted in Haryana’s Sonipat, Sirsa and Narnal. A rowdy got caught in Narnal. They belong to Neeraj Bhawana anti-social gang.
In Punjab, raids were conducted at 30 locations linked to Lawrence Bishnoi, Canada-based raiders Goldie Brar and Lakhbir Landa. The raid was also conducted in the Union Territory of Chandigarh.
NIA officials conducted raids in 3 districts of Uttar Pradesh. A search was conducted for 4 hours at the house of Dilbagh Singh in Philipat area. He is accused of supplying arms to anti-social gangs.
More than 50 NIA officials raided the homes of some people associated with Lawrence Bishnoi and Neeraj Bhawana in Uttar Pradesh’s Pratapgarh area. Many people were caught in it. Important documents were seized.
Case of rocket attack: NIA officials conducted raids in Jodhpur, Sigar, Palasar, Ganganagar and other areas in Rajasthan. A search was conducted at the house of famous rowdy Anil Pandya in Sigar area. He has 39 criminal cases pending against him, including a case of murder. 4 state police are looking for him. Important documents related to hawala money transfer were seized from his house.
In Madhya Pradesh, raids were conducted in areas including Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam. In May last year, a small-scale rocket attack was carried out on the police intelligence office in Mohali, Punjab. Some of those involved were trapped in Madhya Pradesh. Their details have not been released.
Will be destroyed with the cage: NIA sleuths raided Raudikulwinder’s house in Gujarat’s Kutch. He is very close to Lawrence Bishnoi. Important documents were also seized from his house. NIA officials are still searching for Kulwinder who is absconding.
NIA officials say, “Lawrence Bishnoi and Neeraj Bhawana are in jail. Based on the investigation conducted with them in the last 6 months, we have checked more than 70 places in 8 states. These anti-social gangs associated with Pakistan will be destroyed with a cage,” he said.
