The players of the French football club Nice intend to wear a shirt bearing the phrase “Support for Morocco” during the match that will bring them together this Friday evening, with the Paris Saint-Germain team.
The French club announced, on its official website, that the team will observe a minute of silence in mourning for the victims of the Moroccan earthquake, and that its members will wear shirts containing the slogan “Support for Morocco” in a move of solidarity with Moroccans.
The club explained that the shirts allocated to the players in their match against Paris Saint-Germain will be put up on one of the platforms, in order to be sold at a public auction, with the proceeds allocated to families affected by the earthquake.
It is noteworthy that the public authorities are continuing their efforts to care for the injured, shelter those affected, deliver food and health aid to them, and secure traffic on the roads damaged by the earthquake, while at the same time mobilizing all the necessary capabilities to address the effects of this painful tragedy.
