The singer Nicole Zignago, daughter of the renowned Peruvian singer-songwriter Gianmarco, failed to win the award in either of the two categories in which she was nominated at the Latin Grammy 2024. With her album Ecripta in the category of Best Pop Vocal Album and her collaboration in the song Canción Para Olvidarte in the category of Best Regional Mexican Song, Zignago was competing for the first time in these prestigious awards. However, the award for Best Regional Mexican Song was awarded to El Amor De Su Vida by Edgar Barrera and Kevyn Mauricio Cruz.
