Nacon has confirmed the cancellation of the Switch version of RoboCop: Rogue City.
It was initially planned that the game developed by Teyon (Rambo: The Videogame, Terminator Resistance) would arrive on Nintendo’s hybrid console some time after its launch on other platforms, but in the end that will not be the case.
Speaking to Gematsu, the company explained that “we currently have no plans for a release on Nintendo Switch.” The reasons for the cancellation have not been explained, although it is speculated that the fact that using Unreal Engine 5 forced a Cloud version and that this was not viable for the project.
RoboCop: Rogue City, whose PC demo left very good feelings during the last Steam Next Fest, will be published for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on November 2.
