“CM Nitish Kumar has hurt the sentiments of Hindus by taking a Muslim minister to the Garbha Gudi of Vishnu Pada Temple. If he has the guts, he should go to Mecca and Medina. Can he enter the Jama Masjid…? Mansuri was deliberately taken to the temple to hurt the sentiments of Hindus.” Sanjay Jaiswal alleged.
The Minister of State for Home Nithyanand Roy also severely criticized this matter. Targeting Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav, it said, “Nitish Kumar deliberately took a Muslim minister under RJD quota. Hurt the sentiments of Hindu community by entering Vishnupada temple.” He said.
RJD leaders strongly condemned the words of Minister Nityanand Roy. Even though he holds the highest position, it is not appropriate to insult him with offensive words. He said that the country is running on the basis of the constitution which allows people belonging to any community to go anywhere. State Minister Jama Khan said that BJP has no problem and that is why the party leaders are shouting to get their attention. Also, JNDU state president Umesh Kushwaha said that CM Nitish Kumar is a leader who supports secularism in the country and respects every religion and BJP is doing politics.
Purification with Ganga water…
On the other hand, Vishnupad temple authorities have expressed strong objection to Mansuri entering the temple. He said that there is an edict that non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple premises. Speaking on the occasion, Chief of the Temple Management Committee Shambhu Lal Vitthal said that when Mansuri entered the temple on Monday, we did not know about his religion and it was his duty to prevent those who came with him from entering the temple. They said that they had washed the sanctum sanctorum with Ganges water to purify the temple premises as a controversy erupted over the entry of a Muslim man.
