No fireworks during Israeli independence celebration to spare veterans

This Wednesday, Israel will celebrate 74 years of independence. Normally this holiday is celebrated with a lot of fireworks, but this year it will be a lot quieter on the streets. To accommodate military personnel with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), many fireworks displays in the country have been canceled.
