Noida: A 32-storey modern twin-towered building in Noida near Delhi was demolished today (August 28) following Supreme Court orders. The two buildings with 32 and 29 floors were demolished in just 9 seconds.
32 floors of houses named The Towers Apex were built in a residential area called Emerald Court in ATS village in Noida. Near it, houses were built on 29 floors under the name Seyan. These look like twin towers. Built at a height of 100 meters, this building is taller than the Qutub Minar.
A case was filed in the Supreme Court that the building was constructed in violation of norms. The Supreme Court ordered the demolition of the building in August last year after the norms were found to have been violated. Subsequently, the Noida Twin Towers were demolished.

A cascade of smoke: The work for this was entrusted to Edifice Engineering. The filling of 3,700 kg of explosives in the pillars of the building has been completed. Today this building was demolished by a technique called ‘Waterfall Implosion’.
When the explosives detonated and the water from the dam was released, like a waterfall, the twin towers collapsed to the ground within minutes.
