Hyderabad: Kavitha, a member of the Telangana Upper House and the daughter of the state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao, said yesterday:
This is the budget for states going to elections soon and states where BJP is in power. It is not a budget for all states.
Rs. We expect no tax upto 10 lakh income. But not so. BJP-ruled states have one budget and other states have a different budget.
There is nothing in this budget for the basic amenities of the people like education, housing, healthcare. The central government owes about one thousand crores to our state of Telangana. Nothing was said about it.
