Note: Dubai Airport will be closed from May 9, with a change in thousands of flights

Some services are shifting to Sharjah. About a thousand flights a week are diverted to Al Maktoum Airport. There will also be changes to Indigo services. Therefore, passengers should call the offices of the respective airlines to ascertain the airport and terminal before departure. Emirates services will continue at Terminal 3 at DXB.

Some of the cargo planes will be converted to DWC. Fly Dubai had earlier announced that services to Kochi, Kozhikode, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow and Ahmedabad would be diverted to Al Maktoum Airport. Air India and Air India Express had earlier announced that they would operate services from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum Airport (DWC). The services will be rescheduled and a detailed schedule will be announced within two days, Air India sources said.
