Delhi: Rahul Gandhi has been disqualified from the Lok Sabha from Wayanad constituency following the Surat court verdict in the defamation case. Two days after his disqualification, a notice has been sent to vacate the government bungalow where Rahul Gandhi has lived since 2005.
The Lok Sabha Housing Committee has sent a notice to vacate the Tughlaq Lane bungalow where Rahul Gandhi has been living since 2005. But Rahul Gandhi said that they have not received the notice yet.
Commenting on this, Congress MP and National Spokesperson of the party, Naseer Hussain, said, “This was expected of the BJP. They are using all kinds of tactics to silence the dissenting voices. This is nothing new as they have expelled Rahul from the Parliament through deceitful means.”
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi has been given time till April 23 to vacate the Tughlaq Lane bungalow.
