Breaking the rules.
In fact, the government there gave permission for special shows before the release of Warisu and Tanivu movies. However, it has suggested that special shows should be done only on January 11 and 12. But… the government officials found that special shows have been shown in some theaters till January 17. Also, when the government ordered that cut-outs should not be set up at theaters against the rules, tickets should not be sold at high prices, milk abhisheka and public worship should not be performed, the owners of the theaters ignored those orders.
It has been found that theater owners in every district of Tamil Nadu have violated the rules regarding these two films. The officials from each district submitted a report to the collector. Based on that report, notices were sent to the theater owners. The notices also stated that legal action will be taken if an acceptable explanation is not forthcoming. In the past, there were large-scale fights between Ajith and Vijay fans at the theatres, and the government took precautions to this extent and put rules. But theater owners ignored them.
