I am immensely grateful to the members of the anti-sabotage unit, who are on the ground every day and inspect school buildings, institutions and other facilities throughout our city. Their dedication to work is an example of sacrifice and struggle for our Serbia, because by their actions every day they protect and provide peace to all our citizens. And peace is not a given in itself, but a value created by members of the police through their work,” Đurić assessed.
He also expressed his gratitude to all those who put their lives in danger to save others, and thus, in addition to their official duty, “showed human qualities that should serve as an example to everyone”.
“The new security challenges of our everyday life require a partnership between all decision-making levers and the police in order to jointly develop and improve relations with citizens, based on mutual trust and respect. In this sense, we believe that providing support to the police administration in Novi Sad is one of the city’s highest priorities Novi Sad”, said the mayor of Novi Sad.
