Tata Motors will launch the ‘XPRES’ brand for fleet customers in July 2021. The XPRES-T EV is the first vehicle under the brand. Tata Motors has launched more than 50,000 EVs. They are used in individual and fleet categories.
The new XPRES-T electric sedan comes in two range options. The EV comes with ranges of 315 km and 277 km certified under Automotive Research Association of India test conditions. Both the models pack high energy density 26 kWh and 25.5 kWh batteries. It can be charged up to 80% in 59 minutes and 110 minutes respectively. Can be charged using fast charging or from a standard 15A plug point.

Zero tail-pipe emission, single-speed automatic transmission, dual airbags and ABS and EBD come as standard across variants. Uber is committed to bringing sustainable sharing mobility to India. This partnership with Tata Motors is an important milestone in this journey. This represents the largest EV partnership so far between an automaker and a ride-sharing platform in India. This will supercharge the transition to zero emissions on the Uber platform while working towards building a sustainable future. Uber India, South Asia President Prabhjeet Singh said.
Uber has also committed to converting 100% of its rides into zero-emission vehicles, public transport or micro-mobility by 2040, the company said.
