Patna: An obscene video has been aired on television sets installed at the junction of the Patna city railway station located in the state of Bihar. It is reported that this video was aired for about 3 minutes at a time when the number of passengers was high.
Patna railway station is one of the busiest railway stations in India. Because, people from Bihar state usually use this railway station to come and go to other states for business and work. In this context, this obscene video has been aired on railway station TV sets on Sunday. This is shocking. It seems that the railway police have registered a case in this regard. It was stopped after passengers informed the railway officials that the obscene film was being aired.
A private company has been contracted to telecast videos and advertisements on TV boxes at this railway station. We are investigating the matter. We have taken action to cancel the contract of the concerned company. Railway officials have said that this is morally intolerable.
When this video was aired, the passengers captured it on their mobile phones and posted it on social media. It has received national attention. Also, some users tagged Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
