Chennai: Indian player Dinesh Karthik has responded to a fan who tagged him saying that he will definitely be in the upcoming One Day Cricket World Cup series.
38-year-old Dinesh Karthik has been playing for the Indian team since 2004. So far he has played 26 Tests, 94 ODIs and 56 T20Is. He last played in the T20 World Cup series held last year. He is a wicket keeper batsman.
Expectations have arisen as to who will be the wicket-keeper batsman of the Indian team in the upcoming ODI Cricket World Cup series. KL Rahul, Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan are likely to play wicket-keepers in the series due to Rishabh Pant’s injury.
