Agnipath Protest There is strong opposition from the youth to the Agnipath Scheme introduced by the Central Government for military recruitment. If I leave the Army at the age of 26 it will take me another 3 years to complete the degree .. How can I get another job at the age of 30 ” he asked.

The Center has also promised 10 per cent reservation in the Armed Forces and other agencies under the Ministry of Defense, including the Assam Rifles, for youths joining the Army under the Agneepath scheme. Also, the three-year age limit will be raised. The Ministry of Shipping said it would provide job opportunities for firefighters working in the Navy.
