It was officially decided to organize the African Women’s Football Championship in Morocco.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided to grant Morocco the honor of hosting the 2024 African Nations Cup for Women.
This decision was taken today, Wednesday, August 9, during the 44th General Assembly, which was held by the Confederation of African Football.
Morocco had succeeded in organizing the fourteenth edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, from July 2 to 23, 2022, which prompted the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to grant Morocco the honor of organizing the next tournament as well, “Can 2024”.
It is worth noting that the last round of the African Cup of Nations finals was won by the South African team, after defeating the Moroccan national team in the final match, with two goals to one.
