New Delhi | Several users of the Ola electric scooter have been complaining about the front suspension of the vehicle on Twitter, as some of them have met with an accident.
A user Samkit Parmar tweeted that his wife met with an accident as the front wheel of her Ola scooter broke off from the suspension.
He wrote, “Yesterday a terrible incident happened with my wife. She was riding her Atdate Ola Electric at 9:15 pm. At a speed of about 35 kmph when her front wheel came out of the suspension. She was badly injured. She fell flat and is in ICU with serious injuries. Who is responsible?”
Another user Atdaret Sumo Bakshi shared his experience after learning about the incident which he had with the scooter.
He tweeted, “My sympathies. I met with a similar accident on Ola S1 scooter with my daughter. Luckily I bore the full brunt of the accident with severe chest pain. My torso hit the handlebars. It took me more than a month to recover from the injury.”
Furthermore, similar incidents were reported by multiple users on Twitter last year.
A user claimed that the front suspension of his Ola S1 Pro broke while riding.
On the microblogging site, Shrinad Menon requested the company for a replacement of the vehicle.
Several other users also joined him on the same thread with countless tales of quality issues, breakdowns and poor after-sales experiences.
