The model Olenka Mejia has decided to take legal measures against Jefferson Farfán, filing a countersuit for the crime of libel. Yahaira Plasencia’s ex-sister-in-law took this action after the Public Ministry filed the lawsuit that the former soccer player Lima Alliance filed against him. This conflict originated from the statements of Mejía, who claimed to have had a romantic relationship with ‘Foquita’, in addition to ensuring that she was about to have a child with him, but unfortunately suffered a loss.
Olenka Mejía announces countersuit against Jefferson Farfán
The countersuit was formally filed by Mejía and his lawyer Wilmer Arica in San Isidro. According to Olenka, Farfán’s accusations were completely unfounded and damaged his image and mental health. In his statements to ‘love and fire ‘, Mejía stated: “It was something that was pending. It was obvious that we had to file the lawsuit, we have done so because everything he said was totally false, insulting.” Furthermore, he added firmly: “I plan to go to the end, he has to retract everything he has said. I have the truth, he knows it, that is why he lost.”
The legal conflict between Olenka Mejia and Jefferson Farfán began when the model detailed her alleged pregnancy with the soccer player. As a result of these statements, Farfán sued her for the crimes of faking pregnancy and generic falsehood. However, the complaints filed by Farfán were filed in June, favoring Mejía.
Despite the favorable resolution for her, Olenka has decided to continue with the legal battle, seeking for the former soccer player to publicly retract the accusations that he considers unfounded. Mejía expressed his firm decision to go to the end, ensuring that he has the truth on his side. Until now, Jefferson Farfan has not commented on this new counterclaim filed.
