Oman: The deadline for registering the employment contract of expatriates in Oman has been extended. It has been extended till January 31. The Ministry of Labor has issued a notification in this regard. Information on Foreign Employees in Private Companies
Must be registered within the prescribed time on the portal of the Ministry.
The contract must be registered by the employer. Workers can check this out. Once the expatriate worker arrives in Oman and receives the resident card, the employer can register it on the portal of the Ministry of Labor. It also allows the employer to modify the employee’s contract.

The employer will be allowed to place conditions in the employment contract. If the worker moves to another job or company, the employer will be permitted to enter into contracts that will not disclose employment secrets. A copy of the contract will also be given to the worker. The worker can check the contract through the portal using the PKI number. Once the employer pays, the employment contract application will be approved and the employment contract will be drawn up.
