Oman police seek help to find missing youth

Oman: Police warn to find missing youth in Oman The police have advertised to find a young man by the name of Mohammed bin Nasser bin Mohammed Al Mamari. He has not been seen since Thursday, April 27. He is missing from the Sharjah Governorate in Oman. The Royal Oman Police said.

Police say he went to sea. Police have issued a notice in this regard. The Royal Oman Police has asked anyone with information about Mohammed bin Nasser bin Mohammed Al Mamari to contact the nearest police station or call 9999.

Meanwhile, Oman has released the number of people released from prisons so far through the Fak Kuruba project. 1,009 people were released. Most were released from the Muscat governorate. 196 prisoners have been released. 190 prisoners have been released from North Batina. 148 prisoners released from southern Sharqia Other governorate figures include 76, Dhofar, 98, Dakhilia, southern Batina – 110, Buraimi 72, northern Sharqia – 49, Musandam – 9 and Alwusta – 4. Officials said the project would go ahead by the end of this month.

The project is being spearheaded by the Fak Kuruba Oman Lawyers Association, a group that aims to help those released from prisons for non-payment of fines and minor offenses. The money required for this is raised from the public.
