–Shak Mujibur Rahman was born on March 17, 1920 in the village of Tongipura, Bangladesh. Worked with the Muslim organization. At the time of partition, he wanted to live in Pakistan. In Pakistan, when Urdu was declared the only national language, he led the protests in Bangladesh. In prison, he fasted for 13 days. He was released as popular support increased. He joined the Awami League party and was elected a member of the assembly. Last, in 1955, there was military rule in Bangladesh. He fought for the liberation of the country. Of these, the Awami Party won. But the army acted against him. There was a revolution. With the help of the Indian Army, Bangladesh gained independence. He became the country’s first president.
