Telangana state has once again proved its strength at the national level. It has shown its mark in the Swachh Bharat Mission introduced by the Central Government. As part of the annual clean survey awards, Telangana has been at the top in 2023 as well. At the national level, the districts belonging to Telangana stood at the first three positions in the four star rating. It is noteworthy that Rajanna Sirisilla, Karimnagar and Peddapalli districts are in the first 3 positions respectively. In the three star category, Siddipet and Jagityala were at the first and second positions at the national level. In the two star category, Bhadradri Kothagudem district took the first position. This has been announced by the central government. In Swachh Survey 2023 awards, Rajanna Sirisilla district has bagged the first position in the country with four star categories. Ministers KTR and Errabelli Dayakar Rao expressed their happiness about Telangana receiving awards. Ministers congratulated the district officers and staff for their hard work.

Meanwhile, in the Swachh Survekshan Grameen 2023 awards given by the central government, Rajanna Siricilla’s district stood at the top place in the country. Rajanna Sirisilla district bagged the first position with total 4 star categories. As part of Swachh Sarvekshan Gramin-2023, Sirisilla district has got the first position in the 4 star ranking category in the country for the month of November 2022. It took the first position in the country for declaring all the villages as ideal villages in the ODF Plus category. Construction and use of toilets in houses and all offices in accordance with ODF Plus model guidelines, proper management of wet and dry waste in villages, use of compost sheds, sewage management in all villages, making all villages clean villages, wall paintings in every village related to sanitation etc. . Taking all these into consideration, the center gave the award to Sirisil.
