While she explained that real estate appraisal work was carried out through independent committees comprising 6 members from 4 government agencies, including the Ministry of Interior, Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Finance, and the General Authority for State Real Estate, in addition to two accredited valuers selected by the Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers, The committee noted that the evaluation was based on technical criteria for each neighborhood separately, where the value of the land was evaluated separately from the value of the rubble, and those who do not own a title deed for the land are compensated for the rubble only, and that the real estate appraisal was based on the area, location and use of land (residential, commercial, vacant land), as for the construction price estimation, it depended on the type of construction and its area, such as: (armed, popular building, warehouses), noting that the evaluation committees relied on the executive regulations of the system of expropriation of real estate for the public benefit and temporary seizure of the property, and the technical standards manual issued by the The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers, which is based on best practices that enhance the governance of real estate appraisal and appraisal.
