Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles attended the funeral of their One Direction bandmate Liam Payne. Each arrived separately at St Mary’s Church in the town of Amersham, London, where family and close friends were present.
Yesterday afternoon, a carriage transported the singer’s coffin. “His family has done everything possible to organize the perfect service and give him the send-off he deserves,” reported The Sun. “Liam may have been a global superstar, but to Geoff and Karen (the singer’s parents) he will always be their little boy. “It will be an incredibly difficult day.”

Among those in attendance was Liam’s last partner, Kate Cassidy. The creator of the boy band, Simon Cowell, with whom the singer had had differences, also attended. He brought them together for the show ‘The X Factor’, which eventually made them a global phenomenon. The singer’s parents hugged the music mogul after the private funeral.
The interpreter died at the age of 31, on October 16 after falling from a building in Buenos Aires. The toxicology report showed that he had antidepressants and cocaine in his system.
Liam had spoken on more than one occasion about excesses and his mental health. “Under that guise of success, I was often beside myself,” he responded about his concerts to Men’s Health Australia magazine.
After his death, his former colleagues issued a joint statement. “We will take time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, whom we loved deeply. The memories we shared will be treasured forever.”
Fundraising for children with cancer
Those attending the funeral carried an envelope that said: “Thank you for your donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity in memory of our friend Liam Payne.”
The English press reported that attendees received sheets detailing the actions that will be carried out based on the donation. “This incredible new building will help seriously ill children have a fuller, more fun and longer childhood.”
