Ahmedabad: ‘One India, Greater India’ is the mantra of the country today and service to all the poor, giving priority to all the weak is the policy of the country today, said the Prime Minister. Modi Spoke.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates Guru Nanak Dev’s birthday at Gurudwara Lokpat Sahib in Gujarat Modi Addressing the gathering on Saturday, he said: “Gurudwara Lokbat Sahib is a testament to the passage of time. By the grace of Maha Guru Sahib, the government celebrated the 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev and the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur. In recent years, all efforts have been made to spread the message of Guru Nanak Dev around the world with renewed vigor. The Kartarpur Sahib route, which had been pending for many years, was completed by the government in 2019. Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 400th birthday is currently being celebrated.
We have recently successfully brought a copy of the Holy Guru Granth Sahib from Afghanistan to India. What could be a greater example of the Guru’s mercy? When I visited the United States a few months ago, the United States returned more than 150 items of historical significance to India. One of them was a scroll with the name of Guru Hargobind written in Persian. Being able to do all this is a great opportunity for this government.
Boy Mokham Singh, who played a pivotal role in the formation of the Kalsa Bandh, is from Gujarat and has always been a matter of pride for Gujarat. The gurudwara was built in his memory in Dwaraha, the land of the gods.
I remember with value the contribution of the immense Guru tradition to Indian society during the period of attacks and surrenders by the invaders. Guru Nanak Dev came with the message of brotherhood when this community was immersed in chaos and divisions. Similarly by uniting the voice of the saints of the whole nation, Guru Arjan Dev brought a sense of unity to the nation. Guru Harkishan showed the service path of mankind. It is still a guide for Sikhs and others in mankind.
Guru Nanak Dev and the various Gurus who came after him not only stimulated the conscience of India but also guided India to be safe. The contribution of our gurus is not limited to community and spirituality. If our country, the thought of the country, the faith and honesty of the country are safe today it is centered on the great meditation of the Sikh Gurus.
Guru Nanak Dev clearly understood the danger of Babur’s invasion of India. The overall life of Gurudev Bahadur is an example of the nation being first. Gurudev Bahadur has always stood firm in his concern for mankind. He gave us a vision of the Indian soul. The title given to him by the country as ‘Hind Ki Sadar’ shows that he connected every Indian with the Sikh tradition. Guru Tegh Bahadur’s heroism and sacrifice against Aurangzeb teaches us how the country should fight terrorism and sectarianism. As well as the Tenth Guru Guru Gobind Singh Sahib’s life is a living example of determination and sacrifice at every stage.
It is commendable that the Sikh brothers and sisters fought along the coast in our liberation struggle for the independence of the country under British rule. Jallianwala Bagh bears witness to their sacrifices. During the 75th anniversary of the festival, which received reminders and encouragement from the past, this tradition is still alive and important.
From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from the party to Kohima, the entire nation is working together for their dream and achievement. ‘One India Noble India’ is the country’s mantra today. Creating a capable new India is the country’s goal today. Service to all the poor, giving priority to all the vulnerable is the policy of the country today.
I invite devotees to attend the Ron Festival held at the party. The visionary and hard work of the people of Kutch is a testament to the transformation of the Kutch region. Today is Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birthday and I pay tribute to him. I would like to recall Vajpayee’s love affair with Kutch. Vajpayee and his government stood shoulder to shoulder in the development work done here after the earthquake, “said Prime Minister Modi.
