Exceeding the limit will be taxed. Fines are also imposed even if the goods are brought into Saudi Arabia in a manner that is against the law. The quantity of goods that a person can import is fixed. Specific instructions have been given to the Customs officials at the respective airports and ports in this regard. If there is any doubt in this regard, the doubt can be solved by contacting the authorities.

Goods entering the country will never be allowed to land if they are prohibited nationally or internationally. It cannot be downloaded even if there are local restrictions. Prohibited items include counterfeit products, intellectual property infringing items, and fraudulent items. When preparing to carry the goods in person, the original receipt, translated into Arabic, passport, proof of residence (Iqama) and identification must be presented for inspection by the officials. If there is any lack of clarity in this, it will not be possible to take the goods to Saudi.

Goods imported into the country for commercial purposes can be released only after completing normal procedures. The original bills of purchase of the goods, the certificate proving the manufacture of the goods, the export papers should be prepared when exporting from one country to another country, a copy of which should be kept at least. It should be submitted as and when required by the officials.
