New Delhi . Oppo India on Monday said it has launched the second edition of its ‘Oppo Elevate Program’ in collaboration with Microsoft for Startups to further strengthen the startup ecosystem in the country. Focused on the theme of ‘Virtual Innovation’, Oppo India seeks to recruit proposals under two entry categories- Accessible Technology and Digital Health.
These two categories of startups, driven by the same objective of using technology and creative inspiration to create a better world, can apply to showcase their innovations, the company said.
The proposals will be reviewed by a jury of experts, led by Tasleem Arif, VP and Head, Oppo India, and India Country Head, Microsoft for Startups, Madhurima Agarwal, among others.
“The Elevate program opens doors for like-minded new age innovators to use ‘virtual innovation’ to create technology solutions that benefit people and tackle social issues,” Arif said.
Arif said the ‘Oppo Elevate’ program has seen significant success in its first edition and with the second edition, “we aim to build innovation in health and accessibility and highlight Indian innovation on the global stage.”
The top 10 selected startups will get a chance to present their proposals to a jury during an event in August this year.
The company said that these startups will also be entitled to collaborate with Oppo for mutually agreed terms and technical discussions and access to facilities (lab, space, mobile device) as applicable from time to time.
India’s jury will select 3 startups that will enter the Global Innovation Accelerator Program, and will each win $46,000 in grants, along with further investment opportunities, technical support, research and commercial partnerships, and promotions at global events. Will get a chance
As part of the program, all participants for the Startups Founders Hub will be invited to Microsoft and eligible startups can receive Azure credits of up to $150,000. One can get access to world-class developer and productivity tools, along with advice and guidance from business and technical experts.

Through this program, we aim to support startups with the combined resources of both the organisations. We look forward to helping you truly drive the impact of digital innovation.”
Applications for the second edition of the ‘Oppo Elevate’ program are open till July 10.
