New Delhi: The Congress party has announced that a consultative meeting of the opposition parties will be held soon.
After Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal said this. Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Venugopal said, “The meeting of opposition parties is coming soon. The date and venue will be announced in 1-2 days. A large number of opposition parties will participate in this meeting.”
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is working to unite the opposition parties. For this, he is regularly meeting various party leaders. Nitish Kumar met Aam Aadmi Party National Coordinator and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal yesterday and held talks. Subsequently, he met Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge at his residence in Delhi. At that time, Rahul Gandhi was also with him. During this meeting, they discussed about convening a meeting of opposition parties soon.
Mallikarjuna Kharge, who posted a comment on his Twitter page after the meeting, said, “The country is now united. Our message is that democracy is strong. Rahul Gandhi and I discussed the current political situation and taking the country forward on a new path.” .
