Kerala will receive rain for the next 7 days due to the influence of the easterly winds blowing from the Bay of Bengal over South East India. It will generally be moderate to moderate rainfall. The Central Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Kerala from November 4 to 8.
According to the latest notification issued by the Kerala State Disaster Management Authority, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the districts of Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam in the next 3 hours.
