Research by Compare the Market, a UK price comparison website, found that Orlando, Florida, is the most expensive city in the world for a family vacation.
According to the site, the average price for a family of 4 members (two adults, a 10-year-old child and a 5-year-old child) to enjoy theme parks and tourist sites, is $7,350 dollars.
the sum estimates $4,138 for lodging during high season, $3,148 for activities, and about $64 per day for other expenses.
In second place was Rovaniemi, in Finland, with an average vacation amount of $7,082. Where $4,138 is needed for lodging in high season, $476 for activities and $52 per day for other expenses.
Third place went to Gold Coast in Australia, with an average vacation cost of $6,620 dollars. Where around $5,600 is paid for accommodation, another $972 for activities and $48 more per day for other expenses.
In contrast, the least expensive city was Nairobi, in Kenya. With average cost of $1,974 to $1,853 for lodging, with $93 for activities and $28 for other expenses.
Costs do not include airfare, while daily expenses include taxis, coffee, and meals.
