Over the past four days, 200 fire safety violations have been identified in the Sverdlovsk region. This was reported on May 9 in the Telegram channel of the Department of Information Policy of the region.
“Hundreds of protocols for violation of fire safety rules have been drawn up in the Sverdlovsk region since the beginning of the weekend,” the message says.
The authorities of the region also recalled that the legislation of the Sverdlovsk region provides for administrative liability for violation of additional fire safety requirements during the period of the fire regime.
“The fine is: up to 5 thousand rubles for citizens, up to 150 thousand rubles for legal entities,” the report says.
A day earlier, on May 8, it was reported that forest fires in the Sverdlovsk region had spread over an area of 54.1 thousand hectares, with a total of 64 fire sources in the region. To date, 10 fires have been eliminated on an area of more than 4 thousand hectares.
The day before, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region announced the stabilization of the situation with forest fires. The threat of fire spreading to populated areas has been eliminated. Almost 5,000 rescuers have been involved in fighting the fire.
The governor of the region Evgeny Kuyvashev announced the critical situation with fires in the Sverdlovsk region. The authorities requested federal assistance.
