Eta. A 27-year-old youth died tragically due to electric shock in Sanjay Nagar locality under Etah Kotwali Nagar area. The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Dinesh (son Satyaprakash). There is mourning in the family after the incident and the family members are in bad condition, crying.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning; When Dinesh was using an electric heater to heat water. It is being told that he got injured due to electric current in the heater. After receiving electric shock, he fell unconscious. The family members immediately took him to the emergency ward of the nearest hospital in critical condition but the doctors declared him dead.
The news of Dinesh’s death sent a wave of mourning in the entire locality. Local people said that Dinesh was of very friendly and cheerful nature. Today he was heating water and died due to electric shock. Everyone is shocked by his death. On receiving information about the incident, Kotwali Nagar police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The police is investigating the matter
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accident occurred due to a technical fault in the heater. This tragic incident has once again highlighted the need to exercise caution when using power tools. Police have appealed to family members and local people to follow safety standards while using electrical appliances.
