Arthur, who worked as the head coach of Pakistan from 2016 to 2019, then went to Sri Lanka cricket. After stepping down as Sri Lankan coach in 2021, he joined English county team Debreshire as head cricket. His contract with the English county runs until 2025. With this, there is almost no chance of Arthur returning as Pakistan’s coach to cancel the contract.
