“We comply with sending you the corresponding notarial letter in order to demand that you refrain from transmitting on an open signal and in the program of Mr. Carlos Gonzalo Álvarez Loayza the imitation, sketch, parody or one-man show that alludes to or may be related to Paolo Guerrero Gonzáles,” says the notary document.
“Mr. Carlos Álvarez on previous occasions has offended the honor and reputation of Paolo Guerrero, making a disrespectful characterization, making gestures and movements that attempt to convey to the public the idea that Paolo Guerrero lacks manly behavior. This affects his image and career as a professional soccer player at an international level,” stated in the notarial letter, which was signed by the mother of the athlete ‘Doña Peta’.
“We demand that you refrain from transmitting in said program the imitation or parody that directly or indirectly relates Paolo Guerrero with the character called ‘Paolín lin lín’, Otherwise, we will initiate the corresponding criminal and civil actions,” finished the document.
Subsequently, Álvarez decided to stop playing this character in his programs and stated the following: “I am not upset, happy, or scared with the notarial letter.
