Para World Cup: Avani Legra wins gold medal

Chattavurox: The Para World Cup sniper series is taking place in Chateaurox, France. In the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 category, India’s Avani Legra scored a world record 250.6 points and won the gold medal.

Earlier, Avani Legra had scored a record 249.6 points. He himself has now broken this record. Emilia Popska of Poland won the silver medal with 247.6 points and Ana Norman of Sweden won the bronze medal with 225.6 points. Avani Legara has now qualified for the 2024 Paralympics by winning gold at the World Cup.
