French club Paris Saint-Germain officials believe that star Kylian Mbappe has a prior agreement with Spanish club Real Madrid that entitles him to move for free in 2024.
Paris Saint-Germain and its Spanish coach, Luis Enrique, announced in a shocking news that Mbappe was excluded from the list of the team that will go to a preparatory tour in Asia.
According to the French newspaper L’Equipe, the Al Asimi team is sure that Mbappe has a full agreement with Real Madrid to move for free next year, and therefore refuses to extend the term of his contract, and that any player who was not on the list to leave for Japan is not in the club’s plans.
Since last month, a series of tensions between Mbappe and Paris began, as the former confirmed that he would play his last season with Paris Saint-Germain and would not renew his contract in an email, so officials responded that the 2018 World Cup champion would not be among the club’s plans if he did not extend his contract before the end of this July.
Mbappe has played for Paris Saint-Germain 260 matches in various tournaments since the summer of 2018, scoring 212 goals and winning 4 French League championships, two French Cups, 3 French Super Cups and one League Cup, while his previous period recorded two major tournaments with the national team after winning the 2018 World Cup and the 2019 European Nations League.
