Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, visited the Kingdom to support relief efforts, in solidarity with the victims of the Al Haouz earthquake.
Al-Khelaifi said in press statements that Morocco considers Morocco his second country, and Paris Saint-Germain of France will support those affected by the tragedy financially and morally.
The Paris Saint-Germain president added, “Your tragedy is our tragedy, and I hope you are well and we are always with you.”
Since his arrival in the Kingdom, Nasser Al-Khelaifi was welcomed by Fawzi Lakjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, where the possibility of future cooperation between the Mohammed VI Academy and Paris Saint-Germain was also discussed during the visit.
The National Institute of Geophysics had identified the epicenter of the earthquake in the “Ighil” rural community in Al Haouz Province, southwest of the city of Marrakesh, at a depth of 8 kilometers, with a magnitude of 7 on the Richter scale.
