New Delhi: Congress General Secretary K.C. said that the 3-day meeting of the Congress Party will be held in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur on the 24th. Venugopal said.
In this regard, senior leaders of the Congress party met the media in Delhi. Then K.C. Venugopal said: “Parliamentary elections are going to be held next year. We realize that our party has a responsibility to unite the opposition parties. We had invited various opposition leaders during Rahul Gandhi’s India Unity Yatra. They also attended. Even in Parliament, there is unity among opposition parties in raising the Adani issue.
The opposition parties should unite under the leadership of the Congress party; Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that BJP will not be able to win more than 100 seats if that happens. That is our plan. We will definitely try to teach BJP a lesson.
The full session meeting of the Congress party is scheduled to be held in Chhattisgarh from 24th to 26th. Congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge, former leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, general secretary Priyanka Gandhi and other leaders will participate in this. About 15,000 people like national administrators and state administrators are expected to participate in this session. The meeting will also take a decision regarding the election to the Congress Working Committee. A public meeting will be held in Raipur at the end of the third day,” he said.
Congress General Secretary (Public Relations) Jairam Ramesh said, “If the opposition parties want to be strong; Congress party should be strong. Congress is the only party that has not compromised on the issue of BJP in any part of the country. There are some opposition parties. They will participate in the meeting we convene. At the same time, they will work in favor of the ruling coalition in Parliament. Otherwise, the opposition parties should unite in opposing the BJP,” he stressed.
