Party leader Heerma at CDA party conference: politicians have looked away for too long

Politicians have looked away for too long, said CDA party leader Pieter Heerma on Saturday at the CDA party conference in Amersfoort. The differences in the Netherlands have ‘become a squeeze’ and the latent dissatisfaction is becoming increasingly visible. According to Heerma, political parties should therefore come up with ideas and not with ‘sour tweets’.
