Negative PCR test is no longer mandatory. With this, travelers coming to India from Kuwait will not have to undergo PCR test before departure. The traveler is required to submit a self-declaration form along with their Kovid 19 Vaccination Certificate on the online air facility portal. If visiting foreign countries within 14 days, the information should be recorded in the air facility. In addition, sick passengers may be screened at the airport.
Meanwhile, all Kovid restrictions will be lifted in Kuwait from May 1. The announcement was made on Wednesday. Government spokesman Tariq al-Mesrem told a news conference that the mask was no longer mandatory and could be used indoors and outdoors if needed.
Tariq al-Mustam, head of the Government Communication Center, explained the cabinet’s decisions at a news conference. The decision to lift the restrictions comes in the wake of the country’s low number of Kovid cases and the level of vaccination activities that have led to social immunizations.
He added that those arriving in the country do not need vaccination and PCR testing. At the same time, al-Mesrem told a news conference that all people, whether vaccinated or not, are allowed to enter all public places without regard to vaccination status and without the need for PCR testing.

He also said that PCR screening of people who have not been vaccinated in educational institutions and workplaces has been canceled. Those in contact with Kovid victims do not need quarantine. “If symptoms appear within 14 days from the date of last contact, PCR testing is required,” he added. Tariq said those who confirmed Kovid 19 should stay at home quarantine for five days from the date of infection and the mask is mandatory.
