Mumbai: There was a technical glitch at the Mumbai airport yesterday. Due to this, there was a huge problem in passenger check-in. Unable to check-in through the computer, passengers had to wait in long queues. Due to this, the flights were delayed.
Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is the second busiest airport in India after Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport. Yesterday there was a technical fault in its 2nd terminal. In this case, the departure time of the flights was delayed due to a problem in the internet server yesterday. Passengers waited in long queue at check-in area for more than 1 hour with luggage in hand.
Regarding this, the Mumbai airport management said, “There was a server problem at Terminal 2 yesterday. Due to this, check-in operations cannot be carried out through the computer. Officials carried out check-in without the help of computers. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to passengers. We thank the passengers for understanding our situation.”
