Pathaan Box Office: Pathan, Which Pushed RRR Back In Collections.. Record At The US Box Office

Shah Rukh Khan, who is hailed as the Badshah of Bollywood, has been a hit or miss for years. His last film ‘Zero’ released in 2018 was a disaster at the box office. It is against this background that Shahrukh, who was not seen on the silver screen for four years, recently appeared before the audience in the film ‘Pathaan’. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Deepika Padukone is playing the lead role in this film. Collections are raining at the box office. If you look at the worldwide collection of ‘Pathan’ Rs. 1000 crore mark to cross. But that feat is far from being achieved but now she has broken another record.

Pathan recently surpassed the collections of SS Rajamouli’s prestigious film RRR. The film grossed over $14.5 million at the US box office. To this extent, it became the second highest grossing Indian film in America. But the RRR movie collected $14.3 million overall in the US.. Now it has become the third highest grossing Indian film.

So far, the highest collection record at the US box office is held by Prabhas starrer ‘Baahubali 2’. The film grossed $20.5 million in its total run. But we have to wait and see if Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ movie will beat the records of Baahubali 2. If that happens.. ‘Pathan’ will create the record of being the first Indian film to have the highest collection at the US box office.

In ‘Pathan’ produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, John Abraham played the role of the villain and Salman Khan appeared in a guest role. Ashutosh Rana, Dimple Kapadia and others played the lead roles. Released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, this Pan India film was composed by Vishal and Shekhar.
