Shah Rukh Khan is returning to theaters after five years. His last movie was Zero. This movie was released in 2018. After that, Shahrukh Khan did not act in any movie again. But… Pathan is coming as a full length action entertainer. The already released trailer, posters and songs have raised the expectations of the movie. Deepika Padukone acted opposite Shah Rukh in this movie.
There are reports that the ticket rates of Pathan movie have been increased heavily in the multiplex. It seems that the highest ticket price in Delhi is Rs.2100. After that they are selling each ticket for Rs.1450 in Mumbai and Rs.800 in Bangalore. It seems that even in Kolkata, many fans have bought tickets by spending Rs.700. There are reports of ticket rates of Rs.300-Rs.500 in Hyderabad as well. Overall, it seems that more than 2 lakh tickets have already been sold. Most of them were sold in Telugu and Hindi languages.
Last year, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra had a record advance booking. Tickets worth Rs.19.66 crores were sold before the release of the movie. As Pathan’s movie is going to release on 25th of this month, there are indications that Shah Rukh Khan’s movie will break this record by then. Trade sources say that tickets worth Rs. 40 crores are likely to be sold at the time of release.
