Peak pressure in hospitals due to flu wave: ‘It’s still just going, but it’s very busy’

Dutch hospitals are currently all hands on deck due to the flu wave that is sweeping through the country. Due to the crowds, various patients have now been transferred to other hospitals in the region, a spokesperson for the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS) confirms. However, there is no national upscaling (yet). “It’s still manageable.”
