After leading 11 seasons of resounding success, José Peláez announced his break as host of ‘The great famous chef’ . This decision comes at a special time in his personal life, as the presenter recently became a father. From this new special edition of the reality show, titled ‘The Great Celebrity Chef: Pericotitos’, the actor will be Armando Machuca who assumes the direction of the program, along with Nelly Rossinelli, who leaves her role as jury to become co-host.
“After 11 seasons, almost two years where in the middle I got married and recently had a child, I have to rest for a season. I leave you in better hands,” said Peláez in an emotional promotional video for the show. In this same preview, the driver highlighted Machuca’s suitability for the position, ensuring that “there is no one better for this mission.”

José Peláez, who has been a key player in the success of the program, will take a break to enjoy his role as a father. Her son Lucas, born just a month ago, will be the center of her attention during this time off camera. Furthermore, the actor will not completely disassociate himself from the media world, as he will continue developing personal projects such as his podcasts ‘Al Otro Lado del Fear’ and ‘Gacelas Podcast’. In the first, he interviews public figures about how they overcame difficult times, while in the second he shares advice and experiences about running, one of his passions.

Armando Machuca takes the lead in ‘The Great Celebrity Chef: Pericotitos’
The new edition of the program, titled ‘Pericotitos’, is committed to the formula of uniting celebrities with their children in the kitchen.
