On the occasion of the country’s 75th Independence Day and the 25th anniversary of the Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation, various programs have been organized to motivate the transport staff and the public. Gold medals are given to 150 people including drivers who have never caused an accident and conductors who have performed well.
On August 15, the public can travel free of charge on Government Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses from 4 am to 12 midnight. Especially in Bengaluru, you can visit tourist places and historical places. This free travel facility is applicable on normal, air-conditioned and special Volvo buses. This is stated in it.
