On Monday, there is a chance of rain at some places in the north and south coasts and in Rayalaseema. The AP Disaster Management Agency has said that there is a chance of light rain with scattered thundershowers in Srikakulam, Parvathipuram Manyam and Alluri Sitaramaraju districts today. People are advised to be alert as there will be showers in the rest of the districts. On Sunday, light to moderate rains occurred at several places in North Coast, some places in South Coast, one and two places in Rayalaseema.
From July 18 to 20 – Coastal Andhra districts will experience heavy rains here and there. From July 16 to 20, there will be thunder and lightning rains in Kostanhra and Yanam areas. From July 17 to 20, Telangana will experience heavy rains here and there. From July 16 to 17, rains with thunder and lightning are expected in Telangana.
The effect of periodicity is visible on Telangana. Also, it is estimated that there is a possibility of formation of a period in North West Bay of Bengal on 18th of this month. It is known that a low pressure area has formed in the northwest Bay of Bengal. It is said that it is likely to move over Jharkhand in the south-west direction in the next two days. Heavy rains are expected in Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Sirisilla, Bhupalapalli, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jagityala, Nizamabad, Asifabad and Manchiryala districts on Monday. It is said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rains in many places in the state on Tuesday.
From Tuesday to Thursday, along with the combined Nizamabad, Adilabad and Warangal districts, Rajanna Sirisilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Sangareddy, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkazgiri, Mahabubnagar, Vanaparthi and Narayanapet districts are likely to receive heavy rains. Yellow alert has been issued for the respective districts. More than 9 cm of rainfall was recorded in Kotapalli of Manchyryala district.
